Three hours of table tennis, with different types of play throughout the session. You can choose the hour that suits you, or stay for all three and enjoy the variety!
Hour 1
Welcome & Social
A relaxed start for newer players, beginners and recreational players.
Come along, have a hit, meet other members and enjoy some fun games without the pressure of competition. A great place to build confidence and get comfortable around the table.
Hour 2
Social & Improvers
Ready for a little more challenge? This hour is for developing players and improvers who want to practise, play different opponents and have some more competitive fun.
We can use rotations, doubles, handicap games and different challenges to make sure everyone gets a good game.
Hour 3
Open Social
A chance for players of different levels to mix, play and enjoy their table tennis.
Experienced and league players are welcome, while newer players can gain valuable experience playing against different opponents.
The aim is simple: good games, good company and lots of table tennis.
Social is not about excluding anyone because of their level — it is about creating the right kind of playing experience for everyone.
All equipment is available.
To attend Social sessions, you must become a Social Member of North Merchiston Table Tennis Club. Sign up here.
