Are you looking to celebrate your little ones next special occasion with a big party? Look no further!

Here at North Merchiston Club we can provide the space, equipment, free juice refills and amazing memories! All you need to do is invite your guests and choice of entertainment.

​We offer tea/coffee/hot chocolate/juice for parents with 10% discount during birthday party, or you can arrange with café to open a tab.

Please note:

          Café 48 is separate from the contract you have with the NMC and your Birthday Party. Therefore, are not able to store, heat or cook food for any party.

If you bring your own food, you are solely responsible and advise you to read the Terms & Conditions.

By booking to have your childs birthday party at NMC, you are accepting the terms and conditions.

North Merchiston Birthday Party Rules 

Bouncy Castle Rules

  • Only our bouncy castle allowed (no outside companies)

  • Banned items: shoes, food/drink, glasses, party poppers, silly string, face paint, jewelry, glitter

  • Safety: Adult must always supervise, max 8 kids, similar-sized children only

  • No: flips, rough play, moving the castle

Booking & Payment

  • Full payment required: At booking or 12 days before party

  • £30 deposit: Must pay within 2 weeks of booking

  • Payment methods: Cash or card

  • No refunds if you cancel (unless we cause the problem)

Party Details

  • Age limits: As shown on booking form

  • Supervision: 1 adult per 8 children minimum

  • Time: 2.5 hours total (30 min setup + 90 min party + 30 min cleanup) (entry 12:30-3pm leave)

  • Food: Only solid finger foods allowed, no hot food

  • Drinks: We provide water and squash

Your Responsibilities

  • Adults must stay throughout the party

  • Stay in hired area only

  • Clean up after yourself - take everything with you

  • No alcohol allowed

  • Follow all safety rules

What We Provide

  • Bouncy castle and safety equipment

  • Water, orange squash, blackcurrant squash, and cups

  • Party setup and takedown help

Cancellation Policy

  • You cancel: No refund (we may charge 50% fee)

  • We cancel: Full refund only if it's our fault

  • Good reasons for refund: We change terms, make errors, or cause delays

  • We're not responsible for lost/stolen items

  • Parents must accompany children to bathrooms

  • Staff will check on party but won't supervise children

  • Full insurance coverage (you pay excess if equipment damaged)

 

By booking, you agree to follow all these rules. Breaking rules may void insurance and result in party cancellation.
